Stove Top Instructions
- In a large saucepan with tight fitting lid, bring 3½ cups (28 oz) of water to a boil.
- Add 1 Tbsp of butter or margarine (optional), then one package of Vigo Red Beans & Rice, stirring while boiling for one minute.
- Cover saucepan tightly. Reduce heat to simmer, cook for 20-25 minutes. Fluff and serve.
This product makes its own gravy. For drier rice, use 3 & 1/4 cups of water.
