The small, busy holy basil shrub is native to India – an annual plant with lavender-hued flowers.
But don’t be fooled by its diminutive appearance, because it’s a big deal!
In fact, holy basil features a fascinating composition in its essential oil with eugenol, camphor, flavonoids, nerol and various terpenes – which is a rich blend of compounds.
Holy basil, also known as tulsi, (meaning “the incomparable one”) has been historically used in Ayurveda.
Holy Basil blends well with eucalyptus, juniper, lemon, neroli or rosemary – and is best used with these via diffusion.
Use: Dilute 1 drop in 4 oz of liquid.
How to Use
Holy Basil Oil Uses:

Diffuse at home or work for 30 minutes a couple times a day.

Apply a drop to the temples or back of the neck.

Add a drop to your favorite recipes, including warm tea or iced tea.
