The yellow or orange pigment of turmeric, called curcumin, is considered a primary attribute of turmeric.

 

Turmeric oil, however, also contains turmerones, which are the major constituent of turmeric rhizome essential oils. Turmerones are also bioactive molecules in turmeric.

 

Curcumin and turmerones are not the same, but they both are significant an dare both found in turmeric oil.

 

Turmeric oil blends well with clary sage, ginger and ylang ylang.

Directions

Use: Dilute 1 drop in 4 oz of liquid.

 

How to Use

Turmeric Oil Uses:

  • Add a drop to tea for a warming experience.
  • Add a drop to a carrier oil and massage into desired areas.
  • Place a drop in a diffuser and diffuse.
  • Add a drop to a bath.
