Organic Kasha is simply organic buckwheat groats that have been hulled and toasted. Kasha is 100% whole grain and makes a wonderfully flavorful hot cereal or delicious side dish. Add it to soups or grind it into flour to create Japanese soba noodles.

Directions

Basic Cooking Instructions

Bring 1½ cups water to boil in a small pot. Add 1 up kasha and ½ tsp salt. Return to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer, cover and cook until tender, 7-10 minutes. Drain off any remaining water. Makes 4 servings.
