Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Steel Cut Oats are milled from whole grain oats and cut into neat little pieces on a steel burr mill. Steel Cut Oats make a delightful, hearty hot cereal with an appealing texture. Each batch is handled with care in the dedicated gluten free facility and tested in the state-of-the-art laboratory to ensure the strictest gluten free quality standards are met.

Make The World’s Best Oatmeal At Home

Bring water and salt to a boil. Add Steel Cut Oats, reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 15-20 minutes (or longer for creamier oatmeal). Remove from heat and let stand for 2 minutes.

Steel Cut Oats in The Slow Cooker

Combine 4 cups water, 1 cup oats and 1/4 tsp salt in a 4-6 quart slow cooker. cover with lid and cook on low for 7-8 hours or overnight. Makes 4 servings.

Store in a cool, dry place. Keeps best refrigerated or frozen after opening.
