Cookie Icing Recipe

Enough for 1 Dozen Cookies

3 cups powdered sugar

¼ tsp vanilla extract

4 Tbsp milk (add more milk as desired)

½ – 1 color packet (more color for deeper shade)

  • Mix ingredients together until smooth
  • Add color
  • Blend until all the color has dissolved
  • Drizzle on cookies, or use icing bottle

Frosting Recipe

Makes 1 Cup

4 Tbsp unsalted butter (room temp)

2 cups powdered sugar

2 Tbsp milk

½ tsp vanilla extract

½ – 1 color packet (more color for deeper shade)

  • In a small bowl, beat butter, sugar, milk and vanilla until light and fluffy
  • In small cup, mix color with a couple drops of water or glycerin to dissolve
  • Gently blend liquid color into frosting

Refresh powders instantly with a couple drops of water or glycerin.

Baking at high temperatures may result in some color variation.
