Modeled after breast milk and made with carefully sourced, premium ingredients. Our Stage 1 formula is made with organic lactose, the principal carbohydrate found in breast milk. Our Stage 1 formula provides key vitamins and minerals that are found naturally in breast milk including Calcium, Vitamin D, Iron, Zinc and Choline. It contains essential fatty acids, DHA and ARA that help support baby’s brain and eye development. Our formula delivers two prebiotics – GOS & FOS – fibers that mimic the function of prebiotics found naturally in breast milk – which promote healthy gut bacteria in infants. Our formula has up to four times more prebiotics than other organic infant formula on the U.S. market.

Directions for preparation and use: Your baby’s health depends on carefully following these preparation, use and storage instructions. Failure to follow these instructions could result in severe harm.

Before preparing the infant formula, make sure to always wash your hands. Thoroughly wash bottle and feeding utensils in hot, soapy water before each use. Ask your baby’s doctor about the need to boil or sterilize water for formula and the proper preparation of bottle and feeding utensils. Breast milk is the optimal way to nourish your baby and breastfeeding is encouraged when possible. However, every parent’s journey is different and breastfeeding is not always an option. That’s why Happy Baby carefully modeled their Organic Infant Formula after breast milk’s unique composition. Happy Baby is proud to provide families with this nutritionally complete, USDA certified organic Infant Formula.

Before using an infant formula, ask the advice of your healthcare professional. Powdered infant formulas are not sterile and should not be fed to premature infants or infants who might have immune problems unless directed and supervised by your baby’s doctor.

Wash hands and surfaces. Pour desired amount of warm water (approx 100°F/40°C) into a clean bottle.
Add powder to water in bottle (see feeding chart below)
Cap bottle and shake well until powder is dissolved. Feed immediately and discard within 1 hour

Storage: Store unused prepared formula in the refrigerator at 35-40°F (2-4°C); use within 24 hours. Do not Freeze. Warm infant formula to room temperature and shake well before feeding. Prepared formula should not be without refrigeration more than 2 hours. Store open and unopened containers in a dry area at room temperature. Close the opened container tightly with plastic cap; use contents within 1 month. Avoid any extreme temperatures. Do not reuse container.
