A great tasting allergen-free bread in the tradition of bread like your grandmother used to make. Now you can use it to make rolls, too!

Directions

You will need:

1 whole egg • 3 egg whites

¼ cup oil • 1 cup warm water

Lightly grease a non-stick bread pan.

Combine water (about 110°F) and yeast in small bowl. Set aside for at least 5 minutes. Combine egg, egg whites and oil. Add to yeast mixture. Add wet ingredients to dry mix. Beat for 3 minutes on medium speed. Spread batter into pan. Cover loosely. Let rise for at least 30 minutes in a warm place. Preheat oven to 350°F.

Bake 65-70 minutes. Cover loosely with foil after 30 minutes. Do not underbake. Cool in pan for 5 minutes. Turn onto cooling rack and cool completely.

For Rolls – Follow directions above but add 2 tablespoons sugar to yeast mixture. Spoon batter into greased muffin tin. Cover loosely and let rise for at least 30 minutes in a warm place. Bake at 400°F. Bake for 10-14 minutes.

Bread machine directions: Follow manufacturer’s directions or add all liquid ingredients, then dry mix and yeast in a well on top of mix. Use basic setting, medium crust or gluten free setting.
