Natural Sources® uses the finest fruit available and process it at low temperatures to retain as much of the natural goodness as possible.
Sambucus nigra L. is the Latin name for Black Elder, the dark blue/black berries of this plant have many naturally-occurring nutritional substances such as Rutin, Quercetin (flavonoids) and Anthocyanins. Current research supports the long held beliefs about elderberry’s health benefits on the body. Elderberry syrup has been traditionally used to help support the immune system, especially during the winter season or when experiencing extra stress. An added advantage to the use of Elderberry is its record of safety for all ages.
Use full strength and mix 8 oz of concentrate to 6 oz water or juice to make a healthy delicious drink. 8 oz of concentrate plus 56 oz water makes 1/2 gallon. 16 oz of concentrate plus 112 oz water makes 1 gallon. Approx 8.5 pounds of fresh whole fruit is pressed and concentrated to get one pint of Natural Fruit Concentrate.
