With twice the thickening power of flour, it’s an efficient thickener in everything from gravies & sauces to puddings & pie fillings. And corn starch is essential for baking, where it provides crispness to cookies & a delicate crumb to cakes.
Suggested Uses:
• To thicken sauces: dissolve in a small amount of water, then add to sauce & stir until thickened.
• For hot liquids, bring to boil after adding & cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly
• Add to baked goods for better texture & binding.
