Rich in fiber, iron & Vitamin A, California Apricots have an intense, tangy flavor, making them ideal for snacking or use in dishes where a pronounced apricot flavor is desired.
To Rehydrate: Cover fruit with water or juice and simmer 15 minutes, or until fruit has absorbed liquid and is plump to touch. Drain.
Suggested Uses:
• Chop & sprinkle over yogurt or cottage cheese.
• Stew & puree for a flavorful topping to toast, ice cream or even roast chicken.
• Add to rice, couscous, or bulgur pilaf.
