The mesquite tree has long been treasured by desert peoples for its nutrition and health benefits. Our organic mesquite is grown by local farmers on the northern coast of Peru in accordance with fair trade values. After being washed and slow-dried at low temperatures, the raw seeds and pods are milled to a fine powder.
